Pionik Shahgholian


Pionik Shahgholian is a Cell and Molecular biology major at California State University Northridge, who was first an CIRM Bridge research intern in the Butler lab and now has stayed on as a research assisstant. Pionik’s project aims to understand the molecular program of spinal cord development to improve methods of deriving spinal sensory interneurons from stem cells. Pionik likes to travel and train at the gym in her free time.
