Yahir Verdin is majoring in Cell and Molecular biology at CSUN and is currently working in the Butler Lab as a CIRM Bridges intern.  In the Butler lab, he is working towards optimizing protocols for human dorsal spinal interneurons through bioinformatics and experimental methods. Outside of research, Yahir likes to play chess, watch football, and spend time with his family.
