Eric received his PhD in 2024 from the University of California, Los Angeles. In his graduate work, he studied developmental trajectories of neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration using stem cell derived models. Eric joined the Butler lab in 2024 and is interested in using cutting edge transcriptomic approaches to profile the developing spinal cord and create treatments for neurological diseases. Outside of lab, Eric can be found in the mountains climbing, highlining, and snowboarding.
